The Ramon Magsaysay Transformative Leadership Institute

Starting in 2009, the Ramon Magsaysay Transformative Leadership Institute (RMTLI) evolved to become a major program of the Ramon Magsaysay Award Foundation (RMAF). It aims to promote the transformative solutions of Magsaysay laureates towards making broader, more strategic interconnections among Asia’s leaders.

For more than six decades, the Ramon Magsaysay Awardees have demonstrated how ordinary men and women can transform the lives of peoples affected by complex social and environmental problems.

The Magsaysay Laureates are sharing their solutions to solve these problems.

Through expanded public awareness. Through instructive dialogue. Through creative collaboration and replication. Through the development of youthful transformative leaders for Asia’s future.

RMTLI is at the core of this effort.

The Institute promotes and catalyzes connections and partnerships around these solutions to Asia’s pressing issues of human, environmental, and global development.

RMTLI has engaged the youth and their budding organizations deeper into the solutions-sharing led by the Awardees.

To reach a greater part of Asian communities aspiring to live more fully and productively.
