Asia’s geography is so vast and varied; and with it comes various challenges.  Ramon Magsaysay Awardees have been addressing these challenges – soil erosion, desertification, forest preservation – and have successfully done so.

Magsaysay Laureates such as Japan’s SEIEI TOYAMA, China’s FU QIPING and HAROLD RAY WATSON who worked in the Philippines have demonstrated the innovative thinking needed to combat these pressing issues.
