Throughout modern times, Asia has always been teeming in the billions.  How do we ensure that we are able to feed ourselves without depleting our limited resources?

A number of Ramon Magsaysay Awardees have worked and continue to work on ensuring food security in Asia.  We have scientists who have introduced new rice variants packed with our needed nutrition.  We have farmers who have introduced new methods that yield better crops.  We have industrialists who have reshaped agricultural institutions.

Because of the transformative solutions of people like VO TONG-XUAN (Vietnam) and ROMULO DAVIDE (Philippines), millions of people in Asia have delicious and nutritious food on their tables.
